Indoor track workout today.  1.5mile warmup and cool down.  Did a ladder workout of 200, 400, 600, 800 and back down with 200 rest in between with 400 rest at top of ladder.

Easy run this morning.  Still regrouping a bit from the Montana trip.  Felt pretty good.  Up to Skyline and out South Ogden.  Started and finished the run with Lesley and the girls.

Nice run out the Ogden canyon and back on the pipe trail.  Tried out some kinesiology tape to help with my hamstring problem that has been going on for months now, seemed to help a bit since I made it farther than I have in a long time, and with less pain.  I'll have to update after a week or so of use.

Run on the trails this morning.  Didn't feel good at all.  Hamstring still hurts and I don't know what to do about it.  KT tape is helping out, but still feeling it a bit.  Hot out.  Oh, well, better luck tomorrow!

Decided to take it easy today and focus on the feel of the hamstring. Went out on south Ogden tempo loop. Nice and flat. Good easy run. Just icing now. Hope to be ready for a good half marathon next week!

Met up with Ben V and Jon H in North Ogden.  2 mile warm up follow by 4mile tempo run (5:49, 6:01, 6:03, 5:45).  3mile cool down with a few 200 strides.  Got home and did an easy 1.5 miles with the double stroller while Lesley went out for a run.  Nice workout day, wrapped the hamstring in an ace and it did nicely, hopefully back to new soon!

Nice run this morning on the So Ogden tempo loop.  Felt strong, and hamstring finally feels good too!! I think the rub out/ace wrap combo was the magic recipe.  Getting excited for the race this weekend.

Race today went great.  Hit my goal of going under 1:20 finally.  Had to fight for it though.  Felt strong for most of the race, and kept wanting to go faster, but talked myself back down to reality each time.  I've had too many races that I go with how I feel for too long, and run out of gas with way too much distance left to cover!  Mile 11-12 was by far the test in this race.  Mostly downhill the whole way, with a slight uphill for that mile.  Great race, ran the first half with Janae R, and that was nice to have a running buddy to keep my mind occupied for a bit.  Solid race, with a solid PR today.  Hamstring held up well with the ace wrap, and thanks to the double rub out this week with Sariah, quads were a little sore the whole race, but nothing that held me back too much.  Now too get excited for the Huntsville marathon next month!!

Easy run up Shadow valley, out skyline down the hill and back on combe.  Nice to shake out the sore muscles.  Ran without the wrap on the hamstring today, and it was slightly sore.  Hopefully it is partially due to the race though.  Probably still wear the wrap for awhile until it feels a lot better.

Easy run over to Weber, around campus, and back.  Forgot my ID or would have run on the indoor track cause is was 93 degrees out.  Felt good to loosen the muscles up anyway.  Left hamstring feels improved but not better yet, probably going to start wearing the wrap for a couple more weeks.

Met up at 21st street pond for some intervals with Ben, Jon, Riley, and Ken.  2mile warmup and 4mile cool down.  We did 2 sets of 800, 400, 200, 1000.  Got a little confused with all the pace and distance specifics at the start, so I wish I could start the workout over now that I understand it a bit better, but it was good to get some intervals in anyway, even if they weren't at perfect goal paces.
